Osinbajo commissions Odu’a housing estate built by UK-based Nigerians
The Westlink Iconic Villa – a joint venture project of Odu’a Investment Company Limited and Chapter Four Estates Management Limited owned by UK-based Nigerians, was commissioned today.

Those involved in effecting it, a group of UK-based Nigerian professionals and investors, had said V.P. Yemi Osinbajo had inspired them to come home and invest at a meeting in London years ago with him.
On house deficits, the V.P. noted a 17 million significant deficit, noting that we need housing finance, affordable mortgages and social housing. All developed economies have to grow, usually, with government support, and mortgage schemes.
After the 2015 UK meeting, he added that the road to raising capital was rough, but these investors remained dogged through the years and the breakthrough was realised through the Odu’a Investments Company Limited.
The Odu’a Group Chairman, Mr Bimbo Ashiru, and MD of Chapter Four Estates Management Limited, Mr Shams Ogunmuyiwa, who represented the diasporans, praised the Prof. for laying the foundation for the project.
Ashiru said the Vice President deserves praise for encouraging citizens in the diaspora to invest at home. His (the VP) interaction with four UK-based Odu’a citizens motivated them and set rolling the investment into the project.
The first phase is said to comprise 67 housing units in Alakia and the New Ife Road, Ibadan, while the second, will be engaged with well over 200 units added. This will surely be a great feather added to this man’s feat.
