“Join us to build a country you will be proud of” - Obi tells Nigerians
Peter Gregory Obi, Labour Party presidential candidate for the fast-approaching February 25th elections, has affirmed that his party would not give excuses, and would create employment, end insecurity and establish a better Nigeria.

He had asked Nigerians to join him in the task of building a nation they will be proud of as he promised to revolutionise governance and run an all-inclusive regime carrying women, youths and persons with disabilities along.
This was yesterday, Thursday, 9th February 2023, at the Labour Party (LP) Mega Rally in Abuja. He therein further urged Nigerians to hold himself and his running-mate, Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed, responsible for a better and new Nigeria.
Nigeria's past governments have been in the past, producing insecurity, poverty and unemployment in the last 20 years, he had said, but, “we are offering you security and prosperity. We are going to fight insecurity.”
He promised food to be in surplus as no Nigerians would have any reason to be hungry. He promised women and youth empowerment. He promised to unite Nigeria, which everyone will be proud of in the next five years.
As Obi called on citizens to join the party to build a new Nigeria and make it great again, the National Chairman, Mr Julius Abure too, said that the negative trends in Nigeria would be reversed and a great country will be created.
