Atiku vows to restore peace, facilitate free flow of human and agricultural resources
“If you vote for PDP, peace will return to Yobe. We will make sure that our schools are re-open so that our children will continue to go to school,” Atiku Abubakar was noted to have said during the presidential campaign rally in Yobe state.

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has laid on the ground his competency in restoring lost glory in the state when elected amidst many promises assuring the people of Yobe hope.
He has pledged to reopen the Niger-Benue borders for the free flow of human and agricultural resources. He insisted his administration will make funds available for women and youths to go into entrepreneurship.
Senator Iyorcha Ayu, the PDP National Chairman, too, noted the suffering in the land results from the hoarding of naira notes to buy votes and said the elections present an opportunity for Nigeria to be recovered from the ruling party.
Together with the PDP Vice Presidential candidate, who is also the governor of Delta state, Ifeanyi Okowa, he noted Atiku being the most qualified of all candidates to resuscitate the country and deliver back her glory.
Okowa assured Yobe voters of the security of their votes, as the introduction of BVAS nails down votes' safety. “Your vote will determine your future,” he said, “your vote will determine the future of Nigeria, so you cannot play with it.”
